If you have experience with Accounting, Payroll, Legal Assistance or General Administrative duties we want to talk to you!
We are currently seeking qualified & motivated candidates who have there own computer and software programs. In return we offer a flexible contract positions that allow you to work from home at hours that suit you and your lifestyle.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and behaviors:
- Self motivated and organized!
- Dependable & reliable. Have a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Able to work with multiple projects with fluctuating work volumes
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Demonstrate initiative, be proactive in offering great customer service
- Intermediate to senior MS Office software skills
Accounting Assistant/Payroll
- Exposure to any accounting software programs
- Experience with Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bank reconciliation, etc
Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices; and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
Review documents such as purchase orders, sales tickets, charge slips, in order to compute Accounts Payable records or Account Receivable records.
Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records concerning costs of goods and services and the shipment of goods
- Processing & auditing payroll
- Preparing timesheets & direct deposit information
- Producing all payroll related manual cheque requests (AHC, Garnishees, etc.)
- Preparing T4’s, T4A’s & summaries for year-end
- Preparing vacation reports & accrual as required
Legal Assistant
- Experience working in PC Law
- Experience with Webview Elite and Hummingbird DMS is desirable
- Litigation experience would be desirable
- Experience with any or all the following: Corporate/commercial law, Securities, Litigation, Real Estate, Family law
- Prepare legal documents, court reports and affidavits
Administrative
- Intermediate to senior MS Office software skills
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Experience in creating, editing, & proofing documents & forms
- Answering correspondence appropriately
- Arranging appointments & booking meetings
All experience levels welcome. Successful applicants will be self employed contracting through Calgary Business Services.
